🟩 About Our Kids Play
🌈 “Inclusive design begins with imagination.”
Our Kids Play is the brainchild of Studio Midnight Enterprises, a newcomer to the world of playground curation. The image above is of our first conceptual design. The initial intent was to petition a city to install inclusive flooring and adaptive play equipment at an existing park. Over time, the vision expanded into a plan to build an entirely new play space. One that centers differently abled children, like my son and my niece, at the heart of the design. It is a long-forgotten space reimagined as a joyful and accessible environment where every child can play, learn, and belong by an artpreneur mother, aunt, and sister. The original concept art and layout for The Journey and Tayvien Inclusive Play Project were imagined, illustrated and curated by Studio Midnight Enterprises to demonstrate how inclusive design can transform neglected public spaces into safe, adaptive, and beautiful environments for all children. This concept, which inspired The Journey and Tayvian Inclusive Play Project, integrates universal design principles with community storytelling, ensuring that every ramp, swing, and color choice reflects the spirit of belonging
